Panasonic Convention 2016, Frankfurt
Facade advertising in sub-zero temperatures
From 29 February to 1 March, the Panasonic Convention 2016 in Frankfurt am Main, the largest and most important own-brand event worldwide, showcased the electronics giant's new products for the European market.
As part of the event, the 16 x 5 m facade of the Congress Centre Kap Europa was given a 25 m high livery by PPS. Imaging.
The facade had to be dressed transparently, reversibly and clean, with no blisters or visible joins. In the sub-zero temperatures of February, this presented a considerable challenge, but a challenge that, thanks to our many years of experience and high-quality materials, PPS. was uniquely positioned to overcome.
Highly-transparent self-adhesive film was printed in white, then an additional, very light and removable film was applied to it and the whole was attached using dry adhesion at sub-zero temperatures.
The project was completed, to the client's utmost satisfaction, in the record time of 48 hours. The white-transparent facade branding is definitely worth a second look and has received plenty of positive feedback.
